With the sprint Regatta Season well and truly underway, Burton Leander has been attending, and winning at many, including Liecester, Shrewsbury, Northwich, JIRR, Masters Championships and Trentham to name a few.

In just over 2 weeks (12th and 13th July) it will be Burton Leander's (and Trent RC's) turn to host our own, Burton Amateur Regatta. The regatta, held on a lovely stretch of the river Trent, is one of the longest running in history and has been going since 1865!!

As always the event is held over 2 days, Saturday (12th) and Sunday (13th), with an 1100 meter course on the Saturday and a shorter 700 meter sprint on the same stretch of river on Sunday.

Last year we had had glorious hot sunny weather all weekend and this has already been booked for this year.

If you'd like to find out more about the regatta, it's own website can be found at: www.burtonregatta.co.uk
